BAMP Awards BMH With 2 Housing Excellence Awards

BAMP Award Winners

Benjamin Marcus Homes (BMH) recently won two 2023 Housing Excellence Awards from the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh (BAMP) for two recently completed projects: Best Detached Home and Best Remodeling Project.

“The Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh represents the highest authority in home construction and remodeling and we are honored to be recognized by their Board of Directors for these two projects and the quality and craftsmanship of our work and our team,” said Mark Hoskins, Owner and President of BMH.

BEST SINGLE FAMILY HOME ($1 – $2 M)

This beautiful home in the Peters Township School District sits on a .47-acre corner lot just south of Pittsburgh as part of the Hamlet of Springdale development. 117 Knight Bridge boasts outstanding craftsmanship including custom-built trim work, accent walls, bookcases, and cabinetry. The new and “on-trend” features help this build stand out with a hidden walk-in pantry, owner’s suite wet room, and sitting room, owner-centric kitchen design with upgraded appliances, and more.

BEST REMODELING PROJECT

The BMH team created a welcoming living space in an unfinished basement with extremely custom elements, unique details, and special features. Some of those features include a unique curved bar design with matching tray ceiling, eight additional tray ceilings with LED lighting and custom ceiling inserts, custom-build wainscoting around the perimeter, a unique 24” tile with radiant heat floor, and a custom fireplace surround with a two-tone wood facade and mantel.

“Our team has been serving the Pittsburgh area for over 40 years, helping customers build their dream homes with unmatched quality, care, and service,” Hoskins said, “having their hard work recognized and celebrated is a great way to end a successful 2023.”
